Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost against Lakota East on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Big Blue fell just short of the Thunderhawks by a score of 3-2.

Kaleb Powers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has become a key player for Hamilton: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-10 otherwise.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lakota East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

While Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
