Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary lost against Annapolis Area Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The St. Mary's Saints fell 70-58 to the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Annapolis Area Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will head out to take on Severn School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Severn School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully St. Mary's likes a good challenge. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they will face off against Indian Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
