Soccer Game Preview: North Posey vs. Forest Park

North Posey hasn't had much luck against Forest Park recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Vikings will take on the Rangers at 5:30 p.m. North Posey's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

North Posey gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Vikings who were credited with the victory. North Posey got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Mt. Vernon's two. The win continues a trend for North Posey in their matchups with Mt. Vernon: they've now won three in a row.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Forest Park's offense. They fell 2-0 to Gibson Southern on Thursday.

North Posey's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Forest Park, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
