Soccer Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

Georgetown lost against St. James back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Georgetown Bulldogs lost 5-1 to the St. James Sharks. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Joey Ellison, which was the first he's scored this season.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. James, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Georgetown has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Darlington on the 22nd. As for St. James, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Carolina Forest on the 22nd.
