Volleyball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Gets the Win

The Roanoke-Benson Rockets earned a 2-0 win over the Blue Ridge Knights on Monday.

Roanoke-Benson easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-20.

Jordyn Tomlinson paced Roanoke-Benson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tomlinson got some help from Haley Hodel and her 20 assists. Lola Haskett controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Roanoke-Benson's victory bumped their record up to 9-22-1. As for Blue Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.
