Volleyball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Victorious

The Roanoke-Benson Rockets earned a 2-0 win over the Blue Ridge Knights on Monday.

Roanoke-Benson easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-20.

Roanoke-Benson's victory bumped their record up to 9-22-1. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Roanoke-Benson will head out to square off against Putnam County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will take on Argenta-Oreana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bombers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
