Dayspring Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Faith Christian on Saturday. The Dayspring Christian Academy Lions blew past the Faith Christian Warriors 54-31. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Savannah Green almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds. Green has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Glaze, who posted eight points.

Dayspring Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Faith Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Dayspring Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 30-21 loss against Grace Christian on the 18th. As for Faith Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-43 defeat against Blue Ridge Christian on the 17th.
