Soccer Game Preview: North Henderson vs. East Henderson

The North Henderson Knights will head out to take on the East Henderson Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Henderson lost 5-1 to Tuscola on Tuesday. North Henderson haven't had much luck with Tuscola recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

North Henderson's goal came courtesy of Roselyn Bautista, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, East Henderson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 7th. They came up short against Tuscola on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, East Henderson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 325th, while Tuscola are ranked 116th).

North Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for East Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12-3.

Everything went North Henderson's way against East Henderson in their previous meeting back in March, as North Henderson made off with a 6-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
