Softball Game Preview: Morgan Raiders vs. Sheridan Generals

For the second straight game, Morgan will face off against Sheridan. Morgan will welcome Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Morgan has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Morgan didn't have quite enough to beat Sheridan and fell 11-10. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Chloe Baker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Myka Augenstein was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one triple.

Sheridan pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Morgan, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
