Softball Recap: Plainview Drops Highest Score of Season Against Gibsland-Coleman

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainview). They put the hurt on the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs with a sharp 19-2 win on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Plainview and bumps their season record up to 7-15. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Gibsland-Coleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Plainview will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
