Baseball Recap: Foothill's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After flying high against Washington last Tuesday, Foothill came back down to earth. Foothill fell 7-2 to the Rocklin Thunder on Saturday. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Foothill got a good showing from Dean Collins, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits Collins has allowed since back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Foothill fell to 6-1. As for Rocklin, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against San Ramon Valley on the 19th. As for Rocklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Granite Bay on the 18th.
