Basketball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Renville County West Jaguars by a score of 55-52. If the Lakers were looking for revenge after losing 67-60 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Renville County West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeview will square off against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Renville County West, they will challenge Yellow Medicine East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
