After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin, Independence was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Summit Spartans by a score of 57-47. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 22-point performance the contest before.

Independence has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Summit, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.

Coming up, Independence will challenge Brentwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit, they will face off against Nolensville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
