Volleyball Game Preview: Lanett Panthers vs. Randolph County Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Lanett Panthers and the Randolph County Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Lanett took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against LaFayette as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Randolph County hadn't done well against Woodland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won three in a row.

Randolph County's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Lanett, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Lanett might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Randolph County in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
