Flag Football Recap: Pope Takes Down Ranked Marietta + How To Watch

Pope faced Marietta in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Greyhounds breezed past the Blue Devils to the tune of 27-0. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Pope's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Marietta, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Coincidentally, Pope and Marietta will both be playing Kell the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Longhorns at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Greyhounds will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
