Mt. Pleasant kept a clean sheet against Derry on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Trojans. The result was nothing new for Mt. Pleasant, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Derry from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Tyke Snyder led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Mt. Pleasant and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Derry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1.

Coincidentally, Mt. Pleasant and Derry will both be playing Yough the next time they take the pitch. The Vikings will host the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
