Basketball Recap: Adrian/Ellsworth Comes Up Short

Adrian/Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the George-Little Rock Mustangs. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 59-47.

Adrian/Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for George-Little Rock, the win snapped their losing streak at 11 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-10 record.

Adrian/Ellsworth has already played their next match, a 47-44 victory against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda on the 14th. As for George-Little Rock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-38 loss against Trinity Christian on the 14th.
