Basketball Recap: P.K. Yonge Comes Up Short

If P.K. Yonge was riding high fresh off their 66-36 takedown of Suwannee last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave fell just short of the Gainesville Hurricanes by a score of 48-45 on Tuesday. The Blue Wave have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

P.K. Yonge's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Gainesville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. P.K. Yonge will head out to challenge Interlachen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gainesville, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
