Liberty-Benton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Riverdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Liberty-Benton will be strutting in after a victory while Riverdale will be coming in after a defeat.

Liberty-Benton is returning to their home court after beating Van Buren on theirs, despite the fact Van Buren has dominated at home this season. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Black Knights on Wednesday.

Liberty-Benton took Van Buren into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20, 22-25, 21-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elmwood.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 14-25, 25-21.

Liberty-Benton's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Riverdale, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Liberty-Benton took their win against Riverdale when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
