Basketball Recap: Valor Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Valor Christian won the last time they faced St. Stephen's Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. Valor Christian walked away with a 60-49 victory over St. Stephen's Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for Valor Christian as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for St. Stephen's Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Christian will venture away from home to take on Open Door Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Stephen's Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Portland Waldorf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
