Baseball Game Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves

The Hoover Tornados will venture away from home to face off against the Flintridge Prep Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hoover has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 1.

Hoover came up short against Burbank on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Hoover saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Marks, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep lost 13-5 to Rio Hondo Prep two weeks ago.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Flintridge Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Hoover suffered a grim 11-4 defeat to Flintridge Prep when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can the Tornados avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
