On Tuesday, while Doherty Memorial put up plenty of runs, the same can't be said for North. The Doherty Memorial Highlanders blew past the North Polar Bears 12-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Doherty Memorial.
Frances McMahon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. McMahon was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple.
In other batting news, Alana Ladrie and Isabella LLanos did most of the damage at the plate: Ladrie scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while LLanos scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
