Softball Recap: Doherty Memorial Highlanders vs. North Polar Bears

On Tuesday, while Doherty Memorial put up plenty of runs, the same can't be said for North. The Doherty Memorial Highlanders blew past the North Polar Bears 12-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Doherty Memorial.

Frances McMahon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. McMahon was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple.

In other batting news, Alana Ladrie and Isabella LLanos did most of the damage at the plate: Ladrie scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while LLanos scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Nariah Horton, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
