Baseball Game Preview: Ramapo Raiders vs. DePaul Catholic Spartans

The Ramapo Raiders will face off against the DePaul Catholic Spartans at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramapo will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Ramapo had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Ridgefield Park on Monday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Scarlets with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering the Raiders have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but DePaul Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Immaculata 11-10. That's two games straight that DePaul Catholic has won by just one run.

Ramapo pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for DePaul Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
