Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Georgia Levin and Jae Lang Lead Roosevelt to Victory

Roosevelt can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past the Edison Tommies with points to spare, taking the game 45-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Teddies also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Roosevelt was led to victory by Jae Lang and Georgia Levin. Lang dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 steals, while Levin posted eight points in addition to eight boards and six steals. With that strong performance, Lang is now averaging an impressive 2.6 steals per game. Rixa Johannessen was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

The win got Roosevelt back to even at 6-6. As for Edison, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-51 defeat against Lakes International Language Academy on the 17th. Edison has also already played their next contest (against Minneapolis Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
