Soccer Game Preview: Allentown Central Catholic vs. Whitehall

The Allentown Central Catholic Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Whitehall Zephyrs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Allentown Central Catholic came up short against Parkland and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Allentown Central Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Parkland are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Whitehall didn't have quite enough to beat Pocono Mountain East on Friday and fell 2-1.

Whitehall has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-2 record this season. As for Allentown Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
