Volleyball Recap: EPIC Academy Takes a Loss

EPIC Academy lost against ACERO Garcia back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Legends fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, EPIC Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 18-25, 25-18.

EPIC Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for ACERO Garcia, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, EPIC Academy will venture away from home to face off against Longwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for ACERO Garcia, they will host Christian Fenger Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
