The Countryside Christian Minutemen couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Redeemer Christian on Tuesday, falling 62-27. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Countryside Christian in their matchups with Redeemer Christian: they've now lost eight in a row.
Andrew Parker had an outrageously good game for Redeemer Christian as he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least 25% of Redeemer Christian's points. Ben DiBlasi was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals.
Countryside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Redeemer Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
