Robichaud hasn't had much luck against Garden City recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Robichaud has given up an average of 14.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Robichaud is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Redford Union 13-12. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Amarie Doze made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ehren Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Cruz Lindsey was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Robichaud always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Garden City never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They didn't even let Crestwood on the board, marking the Cougars' second-straight 17-0 shutout. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by seven runs or more this season.
Like Robichaud, Garden City also got a great game from a two-way player: Brenden Haley. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Haley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Ethan Armstrong was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Lewandowski, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.
Garden City is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Robichaud, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Robichaud might still be hurting after the 15-1 loss they got from Garden City in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
