Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes a Loss

Notre Dame Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Simon Kenton Pioneers. The Pandas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Notre Dame Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Simon Kenton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Academy will face off against DuPont Manual at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Simon Kenton, they will square off against Williamstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
