Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-18 loss at the hands of the Clarkston Bantams. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Clarkston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rogers will face off against East Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarkston, they will take on North Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarkston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully North Central likes a good challenge.
