Flora had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came out on top against the Cumberland Pirates by a score of 11-7. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Flora's record is now 7-3. As for Cumberland, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flora will challenge Carlyle at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cumberland, they will face off against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
