Basketball Game Preview: Skiatook Bulldogs vs. Catoosa Indians

The Skiatook Bulldogs will square off against the Catoosa Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Skiatook took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Miami, posting a 65-31 win. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Catoosa came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Locust Grove by a score of 78-71 on Tuesday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Pirates are ranked 280th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Catoosa's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-4. As for Skiatook, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
