Basketball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to the Klein Cain Hurricanes on the road by a 68-52 margin. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Klein Cain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Magnolia will look to defend their home court on Friday against Klein Forest at 7:00 p.m. As for Klein Cain, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cypress Park at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Klein Cain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
