Basketball Game Recap: Adamson Leopards vs. Sunset Bison

The Adamson Leopards lost against the Sunset Bison back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Adamson was dealt a 54-15 defeat at the hands of the Bison. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Adamson in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost six in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Yanet Lemus, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sunset's points.

Adamson's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Sunset, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Adamson will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Hillcrest's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Leopards have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Sunset will take on the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
