Basketball Recap: Nordonia Comes Up Short

Nordonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 47-39 to the Hudson Explorers. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Explorers are ranked 73rd).

Nordonia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hudson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nordonia will face off against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hudson, they will square off against Tallmadge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
