Softball Recap: Westview Warriors vs. Hamilton Marines
Westview entered their tilt with Hamilton with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Hamilton Marines on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westview also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Westview got a massive performance out of Janissa Lehman, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Briana Kaufman, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, three stolen bases, and three runs.
Westview's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. As for Hamilton, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Westview will head out on the road to face off against Prairie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Prairie Heights will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lakewood Park Christian at 5:30 p.m.
