Football Recap: Killingly Extends Winning Streak to 11

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Killingly walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Ellington Knights 75-14. The Redmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Killingly to victory were Hayden Allard and Quinn Sumner. Allard rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while Sumner threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns. Payton Wallace made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.7 points. As for Ellington, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.

Killingly wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-7 victory against Waterford on the 8th. Ellington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
