Soccer Game Preview: Macon County vs. Stone Memorial

The Macon County Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Stone Memorial Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Macon County barely beat Watertown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Macon County never let Watertown get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Fernando Lopez as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Stone Memorial had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over Monterey on Friday.
