Benet Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Plainfield East Bengals to the tune of 70-22 on Monday. The Redwings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 22 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Benet Academy, bringing their record for this year to 27-2. As for Plainfield East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-26 record this season.

Coming up, Benet Academy will welcome Naperville North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Naperville North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Plainfield East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
