Halstead waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past Elyria Christian 41-19. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Elyria Christian are ranked 164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Halstead's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Elyria Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
