Volleyball Recap: South Lake Eagles vs. East Ridge Knights

If South Lake was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Umatilla on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the East Ridge Knights on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

South Lake's offense was headlined by Presley Matlak and Jade Bedingfield, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Iris Trowbridge and her 15 assists. Matlak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
