While Lawrence Free State's win against Shawnee Mission Northwest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Firebirds' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cougars a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Firebirds, who have now won three contests in a row.
