Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the San Elizario Eagles, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Eagles are ranked 111th).

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for San Elizario, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-2.

Mountain View will square off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Elizario has already played their next match (against Irvin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
