Preview: Crimson Cliffs Mustangs vs. Enterprise Wolves
The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Enterprise Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Hopefully Crimson Cliffs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Crimson Cliffs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Dixie an easy 52-32 victory. While losing is never fun, Crimson Cliffs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Dixie is ranked 32nd).
Despite the defeat, Crimson Cliffs had strong showings from Kinsey Plewe, who scored nine points, and Summer Adams, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Enterprise in a 49-35 win over Parowan on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Enterprise.
Crimson Cliffs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Enterprise, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.
Crimson Cliffs didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Enterprise in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, but they still walked away with a 52-48 win. Will Crimson Cliffs repeat their success, or does Enterprise have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
