Baseball Game Preview: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Glendora Tartans

The Crescenta Valley Falcons will head out to take on the Glendora Tartans at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Crescenta Valley 2.9, Glendora 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Crescenta Valley's tournament run continued when they took on South Hills on Tuesday. The Falcons won by a run and slipped past the Huskies 7-6.

Meanwhile, Glendora entered their tilt with Downey on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Vikings.

Glendora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Jacobsen, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Glendora, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
