Basketball Game Preview: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Sacred Heart Crusaders

Enterprise has won four straight games at home, while Sacred Heart has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Enterprise Yellowjackets will welcome the Sacred Heart Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Last Friday, Enterprise was fully in charge, breezing past Salem 51-17.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart got the win against Resurrection Catholic on Friday by a conclusive 61-39.

Enterprise better keep an eye on Raider Williams. He was instrumental in Sacred Heart's win, going 14 for 29 en route to 36 points in addition to six boards and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Sacred Heart's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Posey, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Sacred Heart smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Enterprise has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Sacred Heart, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Enterprise came out on top in a nail-biter against Sacred Heart when the teams last played on January 3rd, sneaking past 57-54. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Williams, who posted 21 points along with eight assists and eight boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Enterprise still be able to contain Williams? There's only one way to find out.
