Brynlie Boreson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Boreson and Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua will square off against St. Ignatius/Charlo/Arlee at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will enter the matchup having just beaten Thompson Falls, so the Scotties will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
