 St. Joseph Notre Dame came tearing into  Friday's  game with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the California School for the Deaf Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  8-3. For St. Joseph Notre Dame, this counts as revenge for the   15-4 loss California School for the Deaf walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2023.
  Cassandra Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Sanchez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 14 consecutive pitching appearances. Sanchez was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news, St. Joseph Notre Dame let  Zora Oliverius and  Lexi Roben loose on the outfield. Oliverius  went 3-for-3 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Roben  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kathryn Gille, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 On California School for the Deaf's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Geneva Brock, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 St. Joseph Notre Dame pushed their record up to 14-3 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for California School for the Deaf, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 17-4.
 As of now, neither St. Joseph Notre Dame nor California School for the Deaf have any future games scheduled.
