Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Wales on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Highlanders.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Claritza Lopez, who had nine digs and one assist.

Centennial has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Lake Wales, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Wesley Chapel on the 30th. As for Lake Wales, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Timber Creek on the 30th.
