Douglas won the last time they faced Arab and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Douglas Eagles' way against the Arab Knights as the Douglas Eagles made off with a 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Arab, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas will host Brindlee Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Brindlee Mountain has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.44 runs per game on average), something Douglas will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Arab, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Scottsboro at 4:30 p.m.
